Beginning Friday, Oct. 17, Dartmouth hosts “Teaching Shakespeare,” an open symposium. Sponsored by the Leslie Center for the Humanities, and organized by Jonathan Crewe, the Leon Black Professor of Shakespearean Studies, the two-day event brings together a group of preeminent scholars and educators who will consider the past, present, and future of the teaching of Shakespeare.
[more]Dartmouth welcomed more than 100 researchers in American studies to campus for the 17th annual Futures of American Studies Institute in June. Participants included faculty members and advanced graduate students from universities and colleges in the U.S. and abroad, including Dartmouth graduate students in comparative literature and in the Master of Arts in Liberal Studies (MALS) program.

Dartmouth welcomes scholars and activists who are shaping the future of Latina/o Studies for a two-day conference February 13-14, 2014. Sessions take place in Haldeman 041.
