Student Professional Development Fellowships

About Student Professional Development Fellowships

Leslie Center Student Professional Development Fellowships offer up to $1,500 to currently enrolled students for internships, conferences, workshops, or other professional development activity related to the humanities.  Students may receive up to two Professional Development Fellowships in their time at Dartmouth.

Students who receive Professional Development Fellowships will be required to submit a brief report at the end of the fellowship term, detailing experience and knowledge gained in the performance of the activity for which the fellowship was awarded.

Students who are interested in a Professional Development Fellowship should complete and submit the Student Professional Development Fellowship application, below.  Also required in addition to the application is an endorsement of your application from your faculty advisor, which should be sent by the advisor to humanities.center@dartmouth.edu.

The Leslie Center Advisory Committee meets every month, excluding December, July and August.  Applications received by the first of the month in which a meeting will take place will be reviewed by the Committee that same month.  Applications received after the first of the month will be reviewed by the committee in the next month in which a meeting will take place.

Questions regarding the Professional Development Fellowship can be sent to humanities.center@dartmouth.edu.
