Multilingual Free Exchange Library

The Leslie Center for the Humanities will soon begin hosting a Multilingual Free Exchange Library that celebrates and reflects Dartmouth's linguistic diversity. We are now accepting book and other media donations and recommendations.

The Leslie Center for the Humanities will soon begin hosting a multilingual free exchange library that celebrates and reflects Dartmouth's linguistic diversity. Print and audiovisual materials in the languages taught at Dartmouth and the many more languages spoken by students, faculty, and staff are welcome. We are asking for donations for:

  • books in any language taught or spoken at our communities
  • books in translation you think speakers of other languages should know about or read
  • trade fiction and non-fiction
  • poetry
  • young adult, middle and elementary grade books, as well as early readers
  • art books
  • books you imagine yourself picking up from a free library

Donations for the library are now being accepted in the Leslie Center main office in Dartmouth Hall Room 102.
