Please join us Saturday 4/27 at 4:30 PM in the Loew Auditorium for a special advance screening of Change the Subject.  Part of Hop Film’s #ReelChange social justice-themed series, this documentary tells the story of the courageous Dartmouth students whose objections to language describing undocumented immigrants took them all the way from Baker-Berry Library to the halls of Congress.

After the screening, Prof. Gerd Gemünden will moderate a Q&A with the filmmaking team: Óscar Rubén Cornejo Cásares ’17, Melissa Padilla ’16, Sawyer Broadley ’08, and Jill Baron. A reception will follow in the Black Family Visual Arts Center’s 1st floor lounge, coinciding with an exhibit opening of Jorge Carlos Álvarez’s photographic work.

This event was made possible thanks to the generous support of Hop Film, the Dartmouth Library, the Latin American, Latino, and Caribbean Studies Program, the Native American Studies Program, the Leslie Center for the Humanities, and La Casa.
