"A play about a historical character is only relevant if it's timely, if it has something to say to us," Professor of Theater Peter Hackett ’75, director of Orwell in America, tells the newspaper. "What attracted me is that the themes and the politics [of Sutton’s play] are unbelievably contemporary."
