Hailey is committed to helping Dartmouth scholars think strategically about their research plans, their professional goals, and their long-term and immediate intellectual impacts.
As the Assistant Director for Humanities and Interdisciplinary Grant Support, Hailey collaborates with Dartmouth's faculty, postdoctoral researchers, and graduate students to identify and secure both internal and external funding to advance their research. A dedicated humanist, she leverages her skills as a writer, editor, and researcher to help Dartmouth scholars position themselves for optimal support and recognition of their work.
Hailey has a proven track record facilitating successful applications for grants and fellowships from the NEH, NSF, ACLS, and the Fulbright Scholars Program, among others. She also assists Dartmouth scholars in the academic publication process, including identifying appropriate presses and developing book proposals.
Hailey has been at Dartmouth since 2016, where she has served in various administrative roles, including the Offices of the Board of Trustees, the Dean of Faculty, and the Advancement Division. She holds an interdisciplinary Ph.D. in Medieval Studies from the University of Notre Dame.
