Sacred Song Intoxication: How the Mystic Gets Drunk on God  A Musical Experience with Guest Rabbi Ariel Hendelman  This 30 minute session will be a mix of learning and spiritual practice (in this case, singing). We'll explore the practical and esoteric mysticism around niggunim, Jewish wordless devotional melodies. We'll learn a niggun and sing it together to experience that power for ourselves. We will also learn about the practice of chanting as a tool of transformation found in many mystical paths. Rabbi Ariel Hendelman is a rabbi, musician, teacher, and writer. She is the rabbi of Bnei Or, a Jewish renewal congregation in Boston.
