Join us for an evening with Poet and Spoken Word Artist Rajnii Eddins as he shares excerpts from his text "Their Names Are Mine."
The Medical Humanities Working Group and the Leslie Center for the Humanities present an evening with Burlington-based poet, spoken word artist, and emcee Rajnii Eddins, as he shares excerpts from his latest work, Their Names are Mine. The presentation will be followed by a Q&A session and a dialog exploring themes of death, dying, the healing potency of creative expression.
Originally from Seattle, Washington, Eddins has been engaging diverse audiences around the country for decades, and in Northern New England and Vermont since 2010. His work aims to confront white supremecy while emphasizing the need to affirm our mutual humanity.
