WGSS Webinar: "How to Survive the End of the World: A Conversation with Autumn Brown and adrienne maree brown."
Registration required: dartgo.org/wgss
Autumn Brown and adrienne maree brown are two sisters who share many identities, as writers, activists, facilitators, and inheritors of multiracial diasporic lineages, as well as a particular interest in the question of survival. Their podcast, How to Survive the End of the World, delves into the practices we need as a community, to move through endings and come out whole on the other side, whatever that might be. Moderated by Professors Mingwei Huang and Misty De Berry.
This event is co-sponsored by the Leslie Center for the Humanities, the Nelson A. Rockefeller Center for Public Policy and the Social Sciences, the Program in African and African American Studies, the Consortium of Studies in Race, Migration, and Sexuality, and the Ethics Institute.
Events are free and open to the public unless otherwise noted.
