Come hear Professor Devin Singh interview Shauna Lee Sexsmith about vocations that seek to make a social impact. Shauna is an international development expert, NGO strategist, and social entrepreneur who exemplifies a socially conscious approach to grassroots engagement. A native Canadian, Shauna has been doing frontlines work globally for years, most recently in Iraq, Korea, and Myanmar. In Iraq, she has been working with the Iraqi Kurds to provide training and education for local leadership and governmental agencies. Shauna will share her experiences and discuss career routes that students might consider in this area. Refreshments provided.
